Cats are a complete package of a bundle of joy! They are cute, affectionate, loving all the while being bossy at the same time. So to say you may have a love/hate relationship with your cat since as much as it is rewarding to own a cat, it also has its downsides.
Here are 8 struggles which only and only cat owners will understand:
Eating ONLY what the Cat Allows you to Eat
When you have a cat, you are only allowed to eat the food which your cat allows you to eat. It’s either the cats’ food or the food which the cat decides not to eat, which is what you will get to eat.
Cats DO NOT Understand the Notion of Personal Space
When you have a cat, you are no longer in charge of the house, in fact, now the cat is the boss of the house. A cat will claim any place it likes, whether it is your bed, your table, or your laptop or your lap. The cat will sit anywhere it pleases even on top of you to show you its affection but mostly to keep reminding you who is in charge!
ALWAYS Finding Missing Things under the Couch
If anything goes missing in your house, may it be your socks, your keys, almost anything! You can always find it in your cats’ favorite hiding spots, which will be most likely to be under the couch or under the bed. Basically, any place your cat spends most of its time hiding or going to.
NEVER Needing an Alarm Anymore
If you’re a cat owner, then you never will need an alarm clock anymore, all thanks to your cat! It will be your cats’ utmost and most important duty to wake you up by meowing right next to youevery single day early in the morning. Although, there will be very likely chances that your cat won’t need anything from you and will wake you up for nothing!
Having Cat Hair on you AT ALL TIMES!
Trying to keep your clothes cat hair-free is almost impossible to do and won’t be worth all the effort or money you invest in it. Regardless of purchasing lint rollers, special cat hair removal vacuums and avoiding wearing dark clothes, you will still be covered in cat hair. In the end, you will have to accept being covered in cat hair at all times.
Having No Clue if your Cat Wants you to Pet Them or Bite You
You will have no clue whatsoever if your cat wants you to pet it or cuddle with it or for it to bite you and scratch you. There is always a 50/50 chance of either of the things happening, and you will just have to be prepared for either of the things to happen at any time!
Your cats acting like you NEVER feed them!
Any time there is food present in front of your cat, it will very likely go towards eating it and act like they haven’t been fed in forever. To which you will end up questioning yourself if you’ve fed them or not?
Casually having Multiple Litter Boxes around the house
If you have more than one cat, then you will need a litter box for multiple cats in different places. Having a litter box for multiple cats in a house is just as casual and common for a cat owner as having tables around the house. Which for a non-cat owner may seem very peculiar?
